What makes a resin bound driveway different from resin bonded?
Resin bound is a mixed, trowelled surface: the aggregate is fully coated and laid as a smooth, permeable layer. Resin bonded is loose stone scattered over adhesive, so it sheds gravel and isn't permeable. We install resin bound.
Do I need to dig out my existing driveway?
Not always. If the existing base is sound, level and free draining, a resin overlay can be laid straight over it. If it's cracked, sinking or badly drained, we excavate and rebuild the ground first; we'll tell you honestly which one you need at the site visit.
Do you do the groundwork yourselves?
Yes. Excavation, sub-bases, concrete, drainage and edging are all handled in-house by our own team. That's the whole point of how we work: the people laying your surface are the people who prepared what's underneath it.
How long does a resin driveway take?
Most domestic driveways are completed inside a few days, depending on size, access and how much groundwork is needed. You'll get a realistic timescale in writing with your estimate, not an optimistic guess.

How quickly do I get a quote, and how do I pay?
Site visits and quotes are free, and we normally get the quote back to you within one working day of the visit, longer on larger or more complex projects. Quotes are fixed price against the agreed scope. Larger projects take a deposit to secure the booking with the balance by agreement; smaller jobs are paid on completion. Payment is by bank transfer only, against an invoice.
